- I'm married to a wonderful man, and I'm crazy about the guy. I have four precious kids, and I adore them with my whole heart. I have the best friends, and I treasure them all. I live just outside of Boston and take trips down to NYC, and I enjoy big busy cities. BUT... I really need some peace and quiet! In daily doses. For long continuous periods of time. I am trying to find ways to interject more quiet time into my life. Last year I rediscovered gardening. This month I went back to my old hobby of cross stitching. Yesterday I spent the afternoon on a boat out on the ocean watching whales silently surface and dive. Prayer. Reading. Painting. Lying still and thinking. I'm getting there.
